BCLC to expand the reach of its PlayNow.com platform into Saskatchewan, offering players access to over 400 products, including casino, live casino, poker, and sports betting.
The BCLC, Canada’s British Columbia Lottery Corporation, concluded a deal with the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) and SaskGaming, allowing them to expand their iGaming Playnow to players in Saskatchewan.
What This Means to Canadians
Once PlayNow.com launches in Saskatchewan, players can look forward to over 400 entertaining casinos, live casinos, poker, and sports betting products. PlayNow.com launched in British Columbia in 2004, in Manitoba in 2013, and is adding Saskatchewan as the third Canadian province in its reach.
Promoting Safer Gambling
Furthermore, PlayNow.com is one of the few in the world and the only gambling website in North America that offers GameSense Advisors, specialists available on live chat and dedicated to its player's health.
Supporting Local Community
BCLC is dedicated to giving back to the community and supports local British Columbia to help communities grow. To that end, all revenue generated from PlayNow.com is invested in the province to support its healthcare, social services, and education programs and projects.
Confidence Reinforced in Legal Gambling
After its initial roll-out in British Columbia and a further launch in partnership with Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries, this agreement follows an extensive Request for Proposal that SIGA initiated in 2021.
Lynda Cavanaugh, Interim President and CEO of BCLC, said:
“This partnership reinforces the confidence the legal gambling industry has in BCLC and our leadership in providing players with entertaining and engaging gambling experiences through our safe and secure online platform, PlayNow.com,”
PlayNow.com is currently the fastest-growing channel of BCLC and, with ongoing year-over-year growth, looks forward to expanding its reach further in Canada.
