The Mohawk Internet Technologies, or the MIT, services some of the most popular online gambling sites around the globe, including the biggest online poker rooms.

MIT is basically a server located within the Indian reserve just minutes out of Montreal and provides space to online casino operators. The MIT is a surprisingly successful business which made in the region of nearly USD $18 million last financial year. Most of this profit is apparently generated by the monthly fees it charges its clients, that is, the online casinos which it hosts. And it's only set to grow further with its recent purchase of a 40 per cent stake in Continent 8 Technologies which is based in the Isle of Man in the Irish Sea.

The company also operates a server for online casinos (as well as other online businesses) and has the potential to capture some of the European market.
