We all know that there are many websites and organizations out there to cater to adults with problems and additions to gambling, but what about teens and children? Addictions Foundation of Manitoba aims to change that with their Lucky Day website.

A very cool and unique flash based website geared towards teens and young adults has been developed by the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba (AFM). Called Lucky Day - it is designed to give the facts on gambling for the teen and young adult age group.

This bi-lingual (French and English) site give teenagers a serious subject matter delivered in a interactive and light way so as to not turn them away from the help they could possibly need.

The AFM has counseling services for gambling issues for adults and teens aged 12-19, located at one of their 26 offices throughout Manitoba.

Throughout the website, there are pop-up facts from each characters in the storyline ranging from statistics of how many teens gamble to money figures. What is Gambling, Myths, In the Know and Superstitions pages give a clear answer and aims to dispel any rumors and give the low-down on what gambling actually involves.

Lucky Day's Problem Gambling, About Us and More pages all offer a non-judgmental view on how to recognize problems and the types of gamblers out there. They also offer a full range of contact information, from emails, address and direct phone numbers on who to contact.

Overall, this site is a wonderful addition to the arsenal of outlets designed to help people with their gambling problems, but is one of the first to specifically cater to children and teens.
