The Interactive Gaming Council (IGC) is a non-profit, responsible gaming operator and highly respected trade association which serves as a powerful mouthpiece for the interactive gaming industry. As an organization, the IGC confronts the risks and opportunities facing the online gambling industry. All member online operators subscribing to the rules and conduct of IGC practices pay special attention to the following eleven specialty areas, which must be in accordance with IGC protocol and regulations:

The IGC was founded in 1996 in the US, but relocated to Vancouver, Canada, a few years later, in 2000.

IGC members can be found around the world, in countries including Canada and the US, the UK, South Africa, the Caribbean, Australia, Denmark and Sweden, to name a few.
