Craps
A first glance at the craps table in any casino is likely to deter the uninitiated. However, the fact that the game is probably one of the most popular casino games in the world today suggests there's something more than meets the eye. The complex layout simply displays the number of betting options available to the player. These options are largely responsible for more money being spent at the craps table than at any other table on the casino floor.
The buzz from the crowd and the breath holding that accompanies each and every dice throw make craps a thoroughly exciting and entertaining game. It's sociable, noisy, and full of action. However, if you want to have a go at this fascinating game, brush up on the etiquette, which is complicated and could involve a number of upturned eyebrows if you break any of the game taboos.
The first round in craps is the Come Out round, and the second one is the Point round. The main object is for the player, or "shooter" to roll a dice total of 7 or 11 with the two dice for a win. Scores of 2, 3, or 12 are called "craps" and result in an automatic loss. Any other total becomes the Point, with the game moving to the next round.
